HELP! How to remove passenger side lower dash cover?!

Hi,

I am installing a dension G500 unit in my 2004 996TT Cab and I am almost done except for routing the ipod cable to the cabin (passenger side). I need to remove the passenger side lower dash cover and I don't know how. It is held by 3 plastic screws. I am having trouble removing these. I have tried multiple flathead screwdrivers, quarter, knife, you name it. The screws just won't budge. The notch for the flathead screwdriver is too shallow and I can't get a decent hold of it with anything. I tried forcing one of the screws using a flat kitcheng knife and half of it broke. As I said, they won't move and I am afraid of breaking the foam panel. I am stuck at this step. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
A

Nevermind. I figured it out. I finally found a flathead tip thick enough.

You should always have a C.I.L. extractor for those situations....

My initial impression is that it works as advertised. However, I haven't had much time to play with it. I haven't tested all the features. I will report back after I use it more.
