Can the 996 Turbo handle like a GT3?

you guys have to remember how big the driver factor is in these cars. knowing that, nearly everyone I know was slower initially in the 997 cup than where they were in the 996 other than those with time in rsrs with the sequential. Many of the guys who can afford the 997s dont really know how to pilot them. Just putting that out there...

what do you think it is about the cup cars that makes them harder to drive? I can see that the sequential would make a huge difference.

lol, ya, the cup I just got is not exactly uhh..."stock"...well, the engine was built by porsche, but its not the normal mill for a cup...nor is the suspension...or the motec...or the braking system...or the...well, you get the idea 
Long story short, if someone has a GTC3 cup car to add to the challenge, I think it would be a valuable comparison to have as mine isnt even NEAR stock. That rsr though...that sounds like a serious spec car

Mikelly has become a very good driver, but even he will tell you there are much better drivers on the track than him. If the car could not handle he would not be decimating everything on that track including GT3's and a cup car. With a full stock bodied and interior 996tt. his upgrades aren't all that expensive either anyone can do it. Also, consider that he did not just keep up with the cup car, he caught it fairly quickly and stayed behind it as he did not want to pass. So he was much faster than the cup car.
CUP and doesn't sweat beaten the GT3 RS,for him that's piece of cake

wow, that is awesome. That thing does rev fast, high compression and lwfw, lwpul, lwrods, lwcrank, sure helps

ya, all that stuff came from the engine package the previous owner did. I was shocked how fast the thing revved and how loud it was...its a good few db louder than any other 996 cup I have ever heard.

Not according to the man himself... I'm told he won't be there for this event, but still is getting used to the upgrades and changes made to his car in the last 18 months. In his own words, He's got nothing for Drew and that cupcar... Bad ride man, seriously, bad ride...
