I killed the goose!!!
That is to say, my stock diverter valves are NO MORE

Finally got the time today to tackle the job... Took about 2-2.5 hours. I definitely recommend dropping the engine down--it's amazing how much of a difference that couple of inches can make in giving you room to work!
Big thanks to Vivid Racing

I used the new Agency Power billet diverter valves and the Agency Power red silicone F-hose (I went with red for just a tiny bit of bling in the engine bay
). I got lucky in that the lower hose clamp on the back OEM valve was facing toward the outside of the car and was easier to remove. I replaced ALL those OEM clamps with srew-type clamps...so much easier to deal with!
Only had one "oh chit" moment when I dropped a 10mm socket into the engine bay

Thankfully, it landed on the inner rim of the serpentine belt lower pulley--I taped a magnet to the end of a paint strirrer stick and retrieved it
. Otherwise, the job went smoothly.
And the ultimate thrill--no more annoying goose honking at me on the test drive
. I'm starting to feel more and more like a grease monkey as I tackle these projects; what a great sense of satisfaction!

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic...

I assume from your photo that you still had the engine lowered when you took the shot?
My rear one (or front?) is so close to the top of the firewall it rubs. I'm concerned about it rubbing through the vacuum hose.
Anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to adjust it? The stock F-hose does not seem to allow it.
