looking to get either the 70mm fabspeed maxflow sport exhaust or GMG,
I am using cargraphics 100 cell right now, any input would be greatly appreciated ,

We offer a version of both of your choices. A 70mm, 200 cell cat, twin cannister style equivilent to your first choice and a 100 cell cat cross-flow design available in both 2.5 quiet and 3.0 loud versions and with choice of tips (single tips, twin tips or re-use OEM tip). Our internal cross-flow design is very similar to your second choice, but is modular in design with a variety of options. Please PM for details and any questions.

Speedtech is the way to go I just installed the 2.5 crossover, great product very nice quality and great sound.

 

I just installed the 3" exhaust with 100 cell cats from 911 Tuning.com ( ska Markski). A few thoughts:

1. Quality / Workmanship : flawless on both counts
2. Installation : very easy, it fit perfectly. We installed it ourselves in @ 4 1/2 hours outdoors (18 degrees lol) without a lift.
3. Sound : inside there is virtually no drone and a great tone . Outside it's a low rumble at idle and a perfect pitch at wot.
4. Cost : a real bargain.

Beyond all of that Markski will go out ofhis way help you. I sent him a text that we were starting the install (Fri at 5pm) and he replied with several tips. At 7:00 I sent a text that we had the stock system off and were going to have a beer before we put the new system on. He calls and goes over a few tips for the install and says "if you have any trouble with fitment, my fabricator and I will come down this weekend". We live 5 hours from Chicago !

I just wish someone (other than some say, Europipe), made an abslutely NO drone, quality performance exhaust that I could use my Fabspeed Big Oval tips on for reasonable money.
I haven't found it yet, but I haven't given up...

 

Its very doable... 2.5" OD piping... 5 inch 200 cell cats... good custom mufflers that are big... thus heavy... etc.... but that also will not be as free flowing as 3" OD piping with 100 cell cats with a X design internally or on the the outside like mine.... I put on my 3 " exhaust on a friends car and took off one of the most popular brands there is on the market and it was almost 5K new... yet the car immediately woke up... throttle response improved... less back pressure.... you can actually feel the difference...

Our X-cellerator 2.5 quiet with the OEM tip option is what you are looking for - send me a PM or email if you would like to discuss it. I originally designed the 2.5 quiet cross-flow for myself using those parameters - I wanted a no drone exhaust for myself, as I am very sensitive to drone and it really bothers me. I think you would be extremely surprised and happy with this system. This is the only 996TT aftermarket exhaust that I have ever been totally pleased with - it makes driving fun and enjoyable without the overwhelming nuisance drone in the cabin. And you can use the OEM tips with it, if you order it that way. As a point of reference - I returned a Ruf exhaust for too much drone and that is a modified stock exhaust that most people do not think drones - I thought it had excessive drone...
