Wow, that 997 TT is actually under $78K ... love to know how much they paid for it at auction but i'm guessing $70ish

BTW, here's an '07 in Chicago for < $80k.

This is a tough market. I would say upper 40's. If it is showroom cond. and you find a buyer wanting your options/color, they may pay up to mid 50's.

With that low miles and if its the car anf color you really wont 1-2 grand more wont matter latter. I love black cars but for me its so hard to keep one clean. Saw some great deals on black TT but ended up paying a little more for the color I really wonted. The car you mentioned with that low miles and the option you state should sell for 48-52.

I bought a 12K mile, 2002 X50/6spd/full leather/sportseats/nav, white on brown with HRE wheels & PSS9's for $49500 in Jun 09. So my assumption would be anything below $45K is good and $40 would be awesome. On a side note the dealer here sold a 02 silver/blue semi-basic car with 25K miles and champion wheels for $55 the same week.

I paid mid 50k$ for a mint single owner '03 that had 8,800miles last summer. Worth the extra in my mind to have an almost brand new car over one that had 25k+ miles.

Let us know what you get it for, I think high 40's low 50's would still be fair, sounds like a nice car.

If it's auto, 35. If 6 speed 40. And, this is becoming more common at reputable dealerships.

does this car have the blue/black interior?

not a good interior color at all and will definitely hurt it's resale value!

there are so many good cars to choose from... i would stick with the basic black leather.

Ive given this car lots of thought. Thanks for all your responses. I've shopped heavily for a car close to home so i could research history etc..With all this being said car can be bought for 40..Ive been stuck on 38! Can tell you market is softer than most on here realize! (sorry economy not the cars)Is carbon fib a great option dont see many cars with it...Does have blue black interior does that hurt value? Car is seal grey in color Not my first choice although after thorough research it was the 3rd most sold color in this year model. I do like the 2010 turbo wheels does anyone know where to purchase them theyre a five spoke look if you havent seen them chk them out. Thanks for your help. If i purchase i will post pics immediatly!

I did a bit of data analysis to predict sale price using over 100 reported sales. I posted a formula you can apply in the "What did you pay..." thread. At some point the age variable will fail to capture a change in the market, or just the basic fact that age eventually peters out as a relevant factor. But it should shed some light on your question.
