I have the lighter one... But I think its easier to tune for the heavier one....
With that said, my flywheel sensor took a dump and it has maybe 300 miles... odd.. we are not sure yet why... Todd is looking into it as we speak..

I have the heavier one and as far as I've been told that all the kits being ran out in the wild are the heavier version, which is still lighter than stock.

I believe you have the heavier one Markski. The lightweight version is the Cup car flywheel, the "street" flywheel is the heavier version. Anyone who has purchased the kit from us aside from 1 customer overseas is using the street/heavy flywheel.

I never drove a Porsche with a Tilton but I have made some passes with a High HP single turbo supra with a street flywheel (HEAVY) Tilton and it was impressive even at the stop and go Bojangles drive through

I've used ultra light setups in the past. They do tend to be more responsive if you're in neutral revving the engine, but you do loose a little in the way of drivability. mine were used in a road racing applications so stop signs weren't much of a concern. This is the only application I'd recommend using them for as they are slightly more responsive. For use on the street or strip, go with the heavier flywheel.

Jag, I've seen your motor over at Max RPM last week. Alex gave me a brief tour of mods you've made. THAT IS ONE BAD *** **** MOTOR! VERY TRICK ECU!

Good luck with everything. Bet you just can't wait to drop everything in the car and motor on!

Hope to meet you one day and maybe you'll take me for a ride in that BEAST!

Cheers!

You were told wrong It actually does matter in terms of drivability and clutch wear but otherwise both will work at holding gobs of horsepower since the clutch pack itself is the same.
