Wow Sharky,

It should be interesting to see how long your car lasts under those kind of boost pressures.

I'm at 1.2 bar and it still makes me feel leery to be running so much boost for sustained periods.
LOL Tyson, I never said I was doing laps around the ring at 28psi... Remember it was only for one run until the the car said "EFF off you silly SOB" and the TB closed and I went back underneath the car and changed the WGs so they weren't shimmed so tightly. After that it was all systems go at 22-23psi, which for brief 100 octane runs seems ok to me. It's nice to know that my saftey features are still in order, i.e. I don't have some null reading from a resistor on the MAF. Driving at 1.4/1.5 bar it pulls strong... With your turbos you should be able to spin 'em up with 1.4bar alright? Clamp down them hoses and give it a shot. Obviously, not for long sustained periods of time- I agree.

CJV,

Sounds good. They are doing it as we speak.
Hey since we're running the same set up you know what... Check the turbo hose part number. There was a TSB a while back....

It should say: 996 110 630 73 or 996 110 631 74. Ask your dealer to make sure these aren't the OLD style hoses and that you need the newer stronger ones.

I am also running a setup similar to this and have still not been able to stop hoses from blowing off. I have change DVs and two hoses and still cannot figure out where other leaks are. Hopefully today it will be resolved. Even with the leaks its still running prettty strong.
I bet it IS running strong Make sure you use extra T-clamps that are stronger. That's what I did during the install.. and so far so good. Until I did that, hoses were coming off
