Do you guys get 'harassed' everytime you drive your car? (and other good car stories)
I haven't been harrassed... Lots of thumbs up and people taking pictures with their cellphones while they are driving on the Freeway!! Lots of STi's and Evos charge up behind me to take a look, but no-one so far has asked me to punch it. Also plenty of attention wherever I park it..
The Car did get spit on by a Cyclist though !!!! The cyclists here in the SF Bay area are a bunch of self righteous asshats.. "Critical Mass" (a local civil disobedience group of cyclists) regularly shuts down the center of San Francisco by blocking all the main roads.. Creates major chaos. I ride my Motorcycle to work every day and so I just weave through their assinine roadblocks.. every so often, one of them tries to kick me... It's just mindboggling to me that someone else feels justified in actually assaultinng me in pursuit of their "cause".

The week I bought it I was naturally super-excited driving it everywhere. Safeway: 2 turbos and 2 C4s in immediate viewing distance. Drove through the hills to the coast just for the curves: Black Ferrari 559 drove behind be almost the whole way. Starbucks: When I came out a Ferrari California was parked next to me. Nuttin exciting about a TTS in this area.
......great post.......

It appears that many car people are attracted to the the wing and will be more agressive based on the size of the wing .
Every BMW here seems to hate my car, especially diesel ones ahah!
They always stick to my rear bumper with their super shiny super angry headlamps....
I love to play at 0.2-0.4 bar.....and when they try to pass "the f...ing Porsche" I put the pedal to the metal and leave them as little dots in the rear view mirror..
Of course this is not the case for the M5/6's though.....not yet

Why not? With your mods you should beat them!
I still have the same size wing the "Porsche Gods" gave me when I was born. Where I live even a big tool (wing) will not attrack attention. Too many exotics. The most fun is handing a Ferrary or Lambo his lunch with his main squeez in the passenger seat.

Even on a twisty road they are hard to leave behind (for me) if the driver is good enough.
On the track I'm faster then them though (I think their brakes are not so brilliant).
it't those dam women that pull up their tops and show their **** that bugs me .
is it because i have a big wing?

MMh, my wing isn't big enough apparently...noone but men are attracted by my P-car...
NY is the worst
I live in the nyc area (suburbs). Things have gotten worse with the economy and the ridiculous class warfare nonsense out of Washington. I have a used 02TT but no one cares about that. My car has had gum put on it, bumper smashed in a parking lot (had to be on purpose give the angle and amount of damage). I recently had someone kick the car right in front of the front wheel well. You could see the heel and toe scuffs on the paint and they kicked it so hard they broke the front inside splash guard in the wheel well. Luckily I was able to fix all of this stuf pf and only the bumper was a big outlay. People suck.
I bought a used toyota fj to drive around town and park at the train station. I dare anyone to hit that, it'll bust up a tank!

With just a flash/exhaust it'is impossible to pull on a M car, believe me....Anything above 200-230 kmh and the M cars will pull on the TT.

I am sure that I am beating them.
I meet M cars everytime I go to the track, and I met a couple during some sunday spirited driving through my favourite mountain road...
I "tried" with my buddy's M6 once on the highway though..while cruising at 140kmh, me behind him, he punched it and I responded. After the initial jump he got (turbo lag for me), I gained a bit untill 220-230ish, but then he started to pull slightly and we slowed down at about 260....WE WERE ON A GERMAN AUTOBAHN OBVIOUSLY.
I must note that I'm trying to find out why I'm only boosting 0.9 bar instead of solid 1 bar...I had the car on a lift recently for what it seemed to be an exhaust leak, then a bad lifter or sticking valve, but in the end it was none of the three, in fact we don't know what it was...my car was producing a strange "ticking" noise that all of a sudden has gone away...
Now I'm about to build my own boost-leak test equipment (NOONE around here seems to know what this is about..wow), and I will see if I have a leak somewhere. Otherwise there has to be something wrong with my wastegates...

Probably you have some problems with the wg.
Last race I've made was with an RS6 sedan('10 model) with 700+ hp and I beat him twice from 60 and 80 until 200+km/h but he had a passenger... M5/6 are much more slower that this RS6.

The M's are strongest at well over 110 MPH, in a straight line at that. That's very useful here in the U.S.
That's why I dumped mine and got the TT. Flashing the ECU should be enough to handle them.
