Which of these 996TT would you choose?

I have a buddy ready to press the button on one of the following but he's not sure which is the better buy:

2001 Facelift with Nav, heated seats etc and 32,000 Miles with 2 x owners and FPSH

2004 Facelift with same spec as above but with 98,000 Miles with 1 x owners and FPSH - just had $5,900 on major + all rads, discs etc

Both are in excellent condition, the same money, colour & Auto..

Which one would you choose as a daily drive and why?

Thanks for your input.

I'd drive both and go w/ the 1 I liked to most. I'd also use the lower miles 1 to try and get the 04 to come down on price to make want it more.

The price of either car needs to start with a 3. The 01 would probably be worth about $5k more to me. Unless the 01 needed tires, services, etc...

Don't buy either without a PPI.

The 2001 since you will daily drive it and put lots of miles on it. The 2004 likely have many parts that are wearing/worn out and needs attention at those miles and I think with those miles the 2004 needs to be less than the 2001 to make sense.

Between those two cars I would go with the 01. It has significantly lower miles. BTW, what do you mean by facelift?

Since I currently own a 2001, it's a no-brainer to recommend the '01 due to the mileage.

The 04 has a lot of miles. If you can get the 04 for a lot less, then maybe otherwise the 01 is the way to go.

I'd go with the '01. 98k miles is a lot of miles and can make selling the car down the road extremely difficult. Let's say he keeps the car for 30k miles, a 62k miles 996 TT will still have a decent market while most potential buyers will likely shy away from a 128k miles example.
