Tech's I need Help...

On X-mas eve I had a fabspeed with 100 cel cats installed as well as EVO DV's and a K&N filter... Not even 100 miles later I got the "Check Engine Light" I had the engine codes read I dont have the actual code but I was told what they were.

"Too much boost"
&
"Secondary air"

the codes were cleared and my porsche tech told me if I have my ECU reprogrammed I could avoid the CEL otherwise it will continue to come back...

Does this sound accurate ????

Thoughts from anyone???

Strange...I had K&N, Fabspeed and Bailey DVs but no CEL even before upgrading the ECU...

Secondary air injection code is the line to the top of the BOVs. It is off or has a hole in it. Check them both.

Porsche PHD
You are da bomb... the hose on top of the BOV was loose of course that would have to be the BOV which is completely out of reach...

any idea what the "overboost" code is about or might it be related to the BOV issue?

thanks

If you don't mind me asking, who performed the install?

Hey Arm,

Give me a call 305 389-2211 and I'll hook you up with the installer. He installs on the side I do not know if he'd want me posting and creating trouble for him at work...
