Advan Neova AD08 ??'s
Hands down - Yokohama.
I have had the AD07 then the Sumi's. and now the AD08. Yokohama's are in an entirely different league - in every aspect. I ditched the Sumi's after 4,000 miles and wrote it off as a $650 mistake.

To answer the other part of the question, IIRC... The Z-rating (149mph+) is a bit older, and was more just to differentiate from a V-rating. The ratings in-between (W,Y) show more accuracy in the actual rated top-speed, usually also showing under a Z-rating anyway.
I looked it up to be sure. Check out this link:

Do you track your car with Yokohama's ,if you do how do you compare Yokoama vs. Michellin pilot sport cup at the track
Rolando
I do track with the Yokohama's and for a street tire, they are hard to beat. This will probably be the last year I use them before moving to MPS Cup or the Yokohama A048 track tires, but I will continue to use them on the street and for bad weather track days.
Hard to compare a street tire (AD08) with a competetion tire (MPS Cup). For track only - MPS Cup. For street only Yokohama's. For street and a couple of DE's a year Yokohama's. Anything more than a dew DE's and I would probably be considering a dedicated track tire.
