Any OTHER way to take off the airbag?

Read all the DIY's on changing the steering wheel, seemed like a piece of cake. I must be the biggest moron this side of lake erie. The Hex wrench tip broke off in the bolt that holds the airbag. I cant get the tip out. Any ideas before i take it in and get a smirk from my mechanic?

Having just done the swap, I'm thinking that is the only way to get the airbag off. I'm really sorry to hear of your plight, and I had my own Torx bit come off and get stuck in there (not broken) while I was doing the swap myself, so am sympathetic.

Needle nose pliers, small thin magnet on a stick, super glue on a stick and touch it to the piece for 30 seconds or until it sticks.

needle nose pliers - doubtful due to the small and deeply recessed hole, but superglue on a stick may work or may make an even bigger mess....i do have a Graabit drill bit i could try.
