what is my 2002 x50 worth
what is my 2002 x50 worth
I am thinking of selling my 2002 x50. I was wondering what to ask.
Arctic Silver, dark blue int., Bose stereo, tiptronic, clean car fax 2 owner car, clear bra, perfect in and out. 46000 miles. Car is stored in an inflatable bubble, all services done by dealer with all stamps and has warranty.

The used 996TT market sucks. You should get high blue book with but with the messed up economy, you'll never get it. If you don't need to sell it, keep it. Since the 997.2TT is losing the GT engine, chances are the 996 may eventually start to hold or even increase value (look at the price trend on the 993 as an example).
I would keep it unless you are moving up in the car world. The X50 was a package that makes the car kind of rare out of what was only about 7,500 made from 2001/2005. Well even less, because the 2001 wasn't offered w/ the X50 package and the 2005 was an " S " not an X50. Sounds like you have a nice car, good luck w/ what ever you decide to do.

I agree with the posts above me, unless you must sell, you should keep it.
To sell the car in a reasonable amount of time, you would probably list the car in the high $40s and sell in the mid $40s. Higher than that and will have to wait for a buyer to come along that's looking for the exact car you have.
Two things that will limit the appeal of your car will be the tiptronic transmission and the blue interior. Most buyers will say things like, "if it didn't have a (insert non-black color) interior," or "if only it was a manual."
In any event, good luck with the sale if you do decide to part with the car.

If this helps, I bought mine in December and feel I could have paid a couple thousand less, but this one was close to me so with a busy family I was happy to pay for the convenience. I also live in Upstate NY where these are hard to find.
