Need claification for where rear ride height is measured?
Need claification for where rear ride height is measured?
Trying to establish where my 01 TT is setup as far as ride height. In checking the Porsche Repair Manual it describes taking the rear measurement as follows:
Measure from wheel contact surface to the locating bore in the rear−axle side section (between toe and camber eccentrics)!
There is a photo in the manual which shows the rear subframe and two holes separated by around 2". One hole is flush with the subframe and the second is a raised hole approximately 10mm.
Can someone tell me if the measurment is supposed to be from the bottom/lowest point of the raised hole(what appears to be the case in the photo) or the flat portion of the subframe between the holes? From the former location I'm at 128mm.
Thanks.

Rear measurements are taken near the crossmember on both sides. Using the points with the "holes" mentioned, measure the shoulder and not in the "hole". The fornt ride ht. is measured at the front tuning fork bolt heads.
Hopefully that helps.
