I just hope that 1.5 miles isn't all you have. Remember, you still have to slow down

Any guesses? Chances of hitting 200mph? Hit the straight at about 80mph and then have 1.5miles to accelerate and hit vmax.

By having a read up, assuming the power is there, RPMs are the limiting factor. What is the factory limiter set to? My dyno runs show it going to 7000RPM in 4th.
Unlikely to hit 200 with stock sized tires. Best I could figure the 7K limiter lives at about 199mph on 295s. If you have 315s on the back you should be fine. Stock limiter was 6750 rpm or so. Someone figured it took low 400s whp to hit 200 so you should be close but probably good there. Distance may be your true limiting factor as 1.5 miles is over very quickly at those speeds...
Good luck and be sure and tell us how you did!!

Great runs man! In the video you were definitely wheel hopping there .
I also heard you snag second . A bit more practice, no reason why you shouldn't hit mid 11's. By the way, kick *** times with your subie!

Is it sensible to have taller tyres on the rear and stock upfront?

If so, what tyre size would I need to get?

Rears only have a matter of 6 months driving left in them anyhow.
If the car is RWD then its no problem with tire circumferences being different by a reasonable amount. If car is still AWD then you will have to match circumferences very closely betweeen back and front to avoid damage to drivetrain. 315/30/18s match very closely with 235/40/18s I believe, but you should double check the sizes.
