chad, are you anticipating any trouble with the AWD system being mixed with 1k hp?
btw, the fact you have a bazillion cars puts your KA project into the proper perspective. i don't know about anyone else, but until recently i thought you were doing the KA project as your only sports car.

I may be wrong but I don't believe there are too many stock parts in KA's front differencial, drive line, cv joints, axles, clutch or tranny. Will she take constant abuse of 1000+ hp ............. I doubt it. However, I don't expect to put more than about 3,000 a year and more than half of them will be easy miles. If I was to get 20K miles, the car would last seven years before a rebuild. Now that will be alot of fun.
Actually, KA is my fifth project in thirty years. The others were in Car and Driver and Motor Trend. I do have a few cars, but no where near as many as you may think. You may forget, but my everyday drivers are a 98 Mercury Sable and a 99 Chevy 4wd PU. If I was to meet you in a crowd, you would probably walk right by me.

It is too early to tell. I have some people studying the motor and available space along with who would be capable of make certain parts. But ........ I would like to install twin turbo's with low A/R's, but not so low as to make the car twitchy.

Tyson Guy and myself are going to have some proper performance testing of the R GT2 and the R turbo in january with Guy's new performance logger, should be very interesting! The R GT2 is quicker than the R turbo i agree, as well as being lighter i think the 18inch alloys may help in acceleration too,
I cant wait,

And congratulations with the GT3, beautifully balanced machine
all the best

Hamann,
Yes, the R-GT2 should be faster than the RTurbo, though not off the line.
Chad,
One day will you please let us know what cars you have/had, these occasional modest oblique references are making me insanely curious.......
Adam,
Yes - we'll get it sorted soon. Will be cool trying to get 0-200mph-0 times for all our cars.

Also not sure if anyone was watching the JGTC race in California Speedway Dec 18th but there was a modded GT3 running motec system thrown in to the pack and was lapped multiple times and eaten alive by the NSX's, Supra's, and 350z's.
Please comment.
