Disabling the passenger airbag, help!

I'd like to have my grandson (6) ride up front when we are hanging out, but there's that concern about airbag deployment injuring small children. Right now he gets the right rear jump seat and very limited visibility. Car is a 2001 TT. Anyone know of way to add a on/off switch or some other method of disabling the bag? Thanks.

The owners manual(for a 2003 TT) shows a buckle (available at dealer)that disables the air bag and states that when disabled the airbag light will flash for 60 seconds when deactivated and key is switched on. Hope this helps

You might try a booster seat in the right rear. That's what I use for my 4 year old and he has better visibility than I do.
