How are side intakes removed??

I am looking to purchase the inserts for the side intakes from Techart, but I want to make sure its not too much trouble to get the intakes out and get them back in. Also anyone know how the front "spliters" from Techart go on??
Thanks,
Evan

The install insructions say to use something that looks like a triangle out of a kids building blocks set. Insert it in the middle rear and bang it in and the unit pops out. Just got mine painted and was going to put them in this week but I don't know if I can follow directions or try a kinder and genteler way.

By any chance can you scan those in, or fax them to me at 561-495-5545 so I can take a look at them (I will fax it to Msindi).
Thanks,
Evan

I am going to pick them up some time this week, the painter has all the paperwork so as soon as I get them I will send them out. They come with a template for the 4 screws that attach them and the instructions. There are 2 clips inside the intakes but they dont come into play, the whole unit (painted part) pops out.

So I mean its pretty easy to do?? I am just making sure its not gunna be a lot of labor from my painter/installer. He does all the paint and bodywork for Braman Porsche, so I guess this won't be a very large task for him...
Thanks,
Evan

It looks like it's < 1 hr labor for a guy with 2 left hands.... I don't know what the painting will run but they are very small pieces, maybe 5" X 3". Somebody has to be able to make them for less than $450......... looks like about $50

The ducts literally pull out. They are hinged with clips and simply pull out with some pressure. Let me put my son to bed and I will snap a pic.

Hey Alex, Duct tape..??? Nice Richard....
