240 Turbo coupes in 2004, I hear only 160 Turbo "S" coupes will be sold, should help resale at least a little. Lets hope anyway

Not really. There were fewer Turbo Coups & Turbo Cabs produced and available in 3rd & 4th Qtr 2005 due to the change over to the 997 Carrera and the Turbo "S" series. If sales were "odly low", there would be a glut of unsold Turbo Coupes and Turbo Cabs, which there is not.

Porsche production capacity has and is running at normal numbers, but divided between 996 & 997 products. The 05 996 C4S, TT & TT"S" products will be produced in very small numbers (comparatively) and could result in some exclusivity for buyers. I know my dealer only had one Turbo"S" Cab allocation (mine) and no Turbo"S" Coupes. Others on this board have found it difficult to find either Turbo or Turbo"S" product in their particular area while a very few dealers have several, unsold.

They are producing a fair amount of Turbo "S" Cabs and Turbo Cabs. I believe over 550 "S" cabs and another 100+ standard turbo cabs. They probably have limited the Turbo Coupe sales because they were so overproduced in 2002 and 2003. I have seen quite a few Turbo "S" cabs unaccounted for but has of yet not found one Turbo "S" coupe that is available. I am sure they're out there, but, I am glad they are limiting production.

Porsche doesn't give a crap how many cars they sell, they make all their money on the trading floor.

Lou, Total world wide Turbo "S" number is in the 500-550 range, WORLDWIDE. The number I have seen for US import is +-50 "S" Coupes and +-150 "S" Cabs. Good, reliable source within PCNA.
