996TT is on transport coming my way!

I got official word. My "new to me" car is officially on the transport truck. 5-6 days to wait (dang CDL rules!). Whatever shall I do in the meantime? Im ANTSY to get it. Coming from Seattle down here to New Mexico. My first car ever thats not "American Muscle" of some sort. The last 2 weeks have been a roller coaster. Unfortunately, some WA state title issues got in the mix and caused some major friction between seller and I. It's hard not to let that damper my mood. It has drastically. But hopefully, once it rolls out the back of the truck, I will be on cloud nine!

The experience will be one that you will not forget. I recall the day my 996TT arrived via transport like it was yesterday. To see it being pulled back and lowered off the transport was breathtaking. I couldn't wait to take it for a drive and know it was mine! Have fun and take plenty of pictures.....I know I did!

I hear ya! Luckily, I never go over that way. Where are you in NM? Do you do any PCA stuff? Just wondering if its worth joining. Don't want to just have cheese/wine with a group of P owners. Im into the performance aspect, not necessarily the social aspect.

Have fun with it and good luck...! I also felt a high the first day it was in the drive way.... Funny but readng your post...i felt the lowest low... when i crashed it... not on the track but highway slid in the rain for over 300 yards.. must have hit the gard rail 8 times spining like a amusment park ride in slow motion....fast spring storm out of nowhere....no kidding.. keep in mind these cars surf board like crazy with no weight in the front.... I walked away alive not a scratch.
I'm fortunate To live the feeling again of another TT high.... good luck...

Im in Albuquerque, not in PCA. I think it would be fun to get together as a group some weekend. I have seen a total of 5-6 996tt's in town but they are rare to spot.

I'm happy for you my car still brings a smile to my face .

I also have a Durametric software if you ever need to check a CEL.
