no surprise there. Motor trend hit 11 flat at 128, so it was only a matter of time before someone who actually knows how to drive hit 10's. Road and track totally screwed the poosh on their recent test of the new pdk turbo. They ran it as fast as the old 6 speed turbo. they must have had Grandma driving the car

I believe that the difference between 10.9 and 11secs could be just the track prep.
absolutely., timing is everything. And when I saw the 11 flat, I knew it could do 10's. The turbo S pdk should be much much faster in the 1/4.
I saw that test too. Boy the stuff is gonna hit the fan over in NAGTROC land now. I can hear the excuses now: "The 997.2 TT didn't win any of the performance tests and it was the overall winner?" Road & Track said they chose the manual because Porsche builds one of the best, but I wonder if that was the real reason they did so?

Yeah, I doubt they chose it for that reason. They more than likely chose it so that the comparison wouldn't be a slaughter. It would have decimated the 1/4 and all the other acceleration and beaten them on the course as well with the extra reaction that the pdk provides. Not good for a comparo to be that one sided.

As far as comparisons... When an M3 beats a 911turbo and GT-R, based on it having 4 doors and more leg room (not the coupe), I pretty much gave up.
