fuel gauge and oil gauge not working

I put on a used gauge cluster now fuel gauge and oil gauge is not working. I thought there is something wrong with the used one so I swap it back to my original gauge cluster, it is still doing the same. Does anyone here had this problem before?

Were they working before you put the used cluster in?

I think the new cluster would need to be programmed to the car. Sounds like the cluster lost its setting when it was disconnected.

The only problem with that theory is that I do not believe the oil pressure sender needs programmed, just the fuel level gauge. Did your oil pressure gauge jump around, or go to 0 before?
