Congrats on the purchase, car looks amazing. I want one just like that one. Here's my 335 with the same wheels.

 

Man is that beautiful! White is the best color ever. Looks even more stunning with those wheels. Enjoy! 996tt is truly one of the best out there.

 

White and gold wheels has to be one of the better looking color combos that I have seen. First time seeing it on a 996tt and it looks amazing.


How were the GT3 seats on the long trip?

 

Nice car! Love the white/gold wheel combo. One suggestion though is to replace the lip with the same instead of the C4 one. I've seen a 996TT with the C4 lip and it just didn't look right when combined with the turbo wing. I think it'd look even worse with the aerokit wing. Just get a turbo lip and leave it unpainted so it won't look as bad when it gets scraped up.

 

I had 292 put back the stock sport seats because of my bad back. Even with lumbar support, I felt discomfort in my lower left back during extended driving. I probably wouldn't have made it home if I had to live with the GT3 seats for 1,200 miles.

I agree, the C4S lip looks a bit odd on this car, but I am no longer scrapping. As I get used to driving such a low car again, I might replace it with the Rottech CF aerokit sytle front lip.

Still stalling the car once in a while, especially when I have to start from a standstill from a hill. Not only is the clutch engagement point extremely high, it does not seem very precise either. Wondering if the GT2 slave conversion I read about would help with this problem. Other than that, the car is a joy to drive. I can use a little less attention from other drivers on the road though. Really wasn't expecting this car to generate so much (positive) attention.
