Salt Lake City: High HP Porsche capable shops
Anyone aware of well-known, proven, reputable mod/tuner shops in SLC? I will be up there next week. Typically I will use Vivid in PHX. But just want to look at options. I live in a small town with no shops. So PHX and SLC are my closest options at 6 hrs away. I spend more time in SLC due to in-laws. Don't need any work immediately, just want to meet and start building my "knowledgebase."

A little dry in the P car arena around SLC. The guy I use runs a racing team, restores Porsches (he's a 356 fanatic) and has a garage out at Miller Motorsports Park. He just sold his dyno so I don't think he'll do much tuning. He is also very busy during race season. Prolly better to use Phoenix for tuning. I'll PM you his name and number in case you need some heavy work done while you're in SLC. You can ask him also, maybe he knows someone around SLC or closer to you than Phoenix.

Since a sponsor posted it............ +1
Yeah he's the guy. He sold his dyno but still has access to it. Heck of a guy too, I've had nothing but the best from him.

Thanks for all the info. Also, I don't want to stick foot in mouth. Todd @ Protomotive is my tuner, and always will be for this car. H'es the man! Just trying to collect info on "hands on shops" close by... if I ever want to get into LSD, bigger turbos, or anything "major". Not right now though, just brainstorming for fun and seeing who my options are.
Dan, I will definitely utilize you down there in PHX. Thanks for the invite!
