Imola Racetrack

Some months ago i posted 2 videos of a trackday in Monza, now i have had the occasion to go to the Imola racetrack (where Ayrton Senna had his fatal accident ) and i would like to share with you my experience.
It was my first time there, the track is fantastic ... maybe the best one i've ever tested !
Ops ... i was forgetting ... it has been my first time with my new K24/18, still setted at a medium boost level !!!

In the first video i chase a 997 GT3 RS ... what you can see is that its handling is better if compared with mine (but not that much) ... but i'm really faster in the straight (when i decide to pass him) !!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uex0S-KA9vk

In the second video i meet a new 997 GT3 3.8, 2 Nissan GT-R and a Ferrari Scuderia ... only at home i will find a boost leak in the hose that goes from the turbo to the cooler ... and i understand why i couldn't pass the Scuderia on the straights !!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-afR...eature=channel

I take this occasion for a question ... during the second run and after 3-4 hard laps, my clutch pedal became really stiff for 30-40 seconds than normal again than stiff than normal !!!
I have a new accumulator just changed 3-4 months ago and i do a clutch bleed before every trackday during the brake bleeding.
What is strange is that i have found a Pentosin leak not in the front hood but in the engine bay, coming from the bleeding valve (really don't know if this is a bleeding valve) of the steering pump on the right of the filling cap !
What could it be ?
Maybe time for a new slave after the accumulator ?

This is great! You are a lucky guy to be able to drive on this historic race track! Great video and powerful car....

For your steering fluid there was a previous discussion about this subject https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...reservoir.html

Hope this help!

Hey Punisher, how are you?

I was waiting for you to put some Imola vids on the internet....what a car, what a circuit...

Those 18g's are doing their job I see...

The first 18g car in Italy will show to all the non-believers how good is US way of modding...

Great job my friend!!!

PS: obviously +1 rep for you!

Hi emadelta,
i'm fine, really fine and still very excited for the Imola's experience.
The track is awesome and the video doesn't show 100% how fantastic it is !!!
The 18g's are great even if i had a boost leak (my mistake during the installation ... i didn't check twice all the hoses) so low boost 1.1 and that Scuderia driving me crazy !
There's another video (not uploaded on the tube) where i follow him for 2 laps and no way to pass.
Next time i will use them with a boost of 1.2-1.3 ... i should blow away the red color from the doors !!!
Thank you for the compliments and for the rep !
And, stay tuned ... Mugello will be the next one ... can't wait.
I will let you know the day of the event.

Thank you sir. Wow is that it for suspension mods ? no coilovers or anything ? Dios mio. Your car is flat through the turns!
