So darn easy to DIY. It's easier than most cars with the filter right in front of you and drain plugs not covered up.

I'd keep an eye out at the local dealers... a dealer near me had a deal for $120 for an oil change and new wiper blades... if there are no deals, then i'd do it myself.

That's my local dealer.

Estimate to do 45,000 /minor maintenance (which is an oil change plus cabin filter change) was almost double that - probably gonna DIY (or go Indy). Even if it takes me an hour, I'll be ahead. Looks pretty straight-forward. Is the filter removal tool necessary?

When you get an oil change at the dealer, do they or don't they drain the turbo's?

Who knows and who cares. If you were wanting to make max profit in a Garage would you??? No excuse if you dont and there is no reason why not too. Ally washers pence and time takes an extra 10 minutes.

In case it hasn't been made perfectly clear yet... You're going to need something like this to catch the oil as it gushes out...

Counter Tq is on the sump. Use a wrench to hold it steady when you loosen the drain plug (and tighten).
