Direct Port Methanol Injection

Has anyone installed a direct port system? I have my motor out and with all the recent talk of certain cylinders running leaner than others I was thinking of switching from my 2 jets in the Y-pipe to a direct port system. This would assure equal distribution to all cylinders. I am not sure about how the install would go being that the intake manifold is made of plastic? Thoughts?

Don,

Give my friend Jeff a call (707) 685 6279, he will give you the skinny on this.

The reason I have my jets on the intercooling outlet end tanks is to ensure the best possible mixing before the air enters the motor. Also spraying on the end tanks will provide excellent evaporation when the hot weather hits.

Sure direct injection into each runner would be best but that is more complicated and costly of course.

Ben

Injectors are around $20 a pop and a distribution block is cheap.

Kind of a pain to drill into the plastic manifold though.
