I agree, I will never go with the Yokohamas again.

PLEASE stay away from the 315/25/19 PS2. I want to shoot the stack of those we have in the back right now with a .45

*noted* I remember reading on the board that they had a bad batch or something along those lines.

Sorry, From my personal experience even though the Yoks may have a slightly smaller footprint the everall grip is superb in comparison to any other rubber in this size. The Yoks need to be warmed up and cycled a few times when new to maintain a good cure. Lifespan isn't great. Other than rubber like the MPSC's and Hoosier Street version I have not found anything close that is better in dry in a true street rubber.

If anyone else has I'd like to know.

They aren't "bad" tires, but getting ahold of them is the real pain. They aren't sold in the US, so they have to be imported. Also, at the price that they are going for these days, they aren't that attractive of an alternative.

Yeah, but at anywhere from $550-650 a rear tire, is it really worth it?

I almost forgot the real point of the thread...I have no complaints about the P Zero Rosso. I would use them on any of my own cars any day. I am also a big fan of the Continental Sport Contact 2 - great tire all around with a lot of good sizes available and never any problems.

They are really new, so its hard to tell, but the 315/25/19 we installed last week got rave reviews from the client (who has many high-HP cars) so I take that as a good sign.

Please keep me (us) posted if you come into contact with the VMAXs some more. They look promising.
