Need help...maybe my O2's are going...

Hi guys,

my left exhaust tip is getting dirty/black faster than the right one...I can only think of two possible causes:

- misfires (that will leave the fuel unburned)

- Somewhat faulty pre-cat O2 sensor

I know Durametric would be a great thing now...

Car runs fine, smooth and strong, but I noticed the difference between the two tail pipes...and started thinking about the possible issue..

Can someone give me some advice?

Thanks a lot.

my plugs and coilpacks were changed last week.

Am I right if I assume that the issue should be caused by some misfires or a too rich AFR?

Anyway, it's time to get a Durametric.

Do you have any CEL's? Usually a dieing o2 will pop a check engine light. If you did have a durametric you can monitor the o2 sensors reading. If they aren't synched up and one is reading slower (or updating some say) then you have located the dieing o2.

I don't have CEL's and car runs great...

I think tomorrow I will give a call to the shop who serviced the car last week.
After a nearly 3000$ service I'd want my car to be nearly perfect...I would be pissed off if I will have to take the car to the shop again, unable to drive it for at least a week...sigh..
