Wastegate Question

Gents,

I am in the process of installing my K24/18g setup and I am running into a problem with the 1 BAR wastegates. I have only installed the passenger side but the larger unit looks to be bumping into the engine slightly. Anyone else run into this?

Thanks,

Are you sure you have the right one on the correct side? The one on the passenger side has a slight bend to it so that it will not rub on the exhaust.

It is actually not the exhaust it is the fact that the new one seems to be larger which is hitting the engine. I see the part with the bend and it is correct.

See the ridge around the WG and how it is very close to the motor?

Nevermind.. when I tightened up the exhaust it seemed to lock in place and not touch anything. It was close though!
