It would nice to experiment different launch rpm points... 3,000, 3500, 4,000

You can significantly reduce wheel hop or axel tramp by shock/spring tuning and with stiffer engine mounts.

That said, let's not simply point out the negative side of this "extra". Epl and softronic are the only two tuners so far with this option from what I know
My Protomotive tune has it..

...You are right...I have left it on by mistake and didnt hardly move...

oh, i've always considered "side stepping" the clutch where you have it fully depressed, then move your foot over to the left and simply letting the pedal drop out. so even with a smooth, yet rapid, clutch release it still felt pretty violent? hmmm, that's a bummer... that leads to my next question...

"it" = PSM? are you saying you're supposed to leave PSM off when using launch control? i couldn't tell from the video whether it was on or not. btw, i meant launch control earlier, not traction control/PSM. so with the promotive flash, are you dropping the clutch or letting it out smoothly yet quickly? and do you have the PSM on or off?

and lastly,

i'm not hating on it. in fact, i'm totally mesmerized by it and as i've been researching an ECU flash, i want to know if this is a worthwhile $300 add-on. it'd be awesome for a drag strip or lining up with one of the [unsuspecting] italian supercars i see periodically around ATL...assuming i can make it work with out damaging the car. but if it's too violent and going to break stuff, i'd save the $300 and not even bother with it.

Hi,The 'it' is the PSM... and it has to be off..
Know matter how I let the clutch out, I get a wheel hop after its out in 1st gear, as I think it is due to just hooking up at those RPMs or the way the drive system responds??..
Its hard to get a perfect launch on the street even with out using the launch set-up..Most of the time I get some kind of hop coming of the line hard...Feathering the clutch and getting the right RPMs is an art..
