Suspension/Lowering Question

Ok - So I picked up a "new to me" 996TT and its been lowered by the previous owner. The car rides fine and I don't have any issues that. However, the odd thing (at least to me) is that the car has been lowered w/ the following:

Front: FVD PSS9 double spring suspension kit
Rear: Techart springs w/ OEM shocks

Is this normal? I figure one would either do a all coilovers (front and rear) or all springs.

pieced together second hand because 2 went out, accident damage, budget...? what ever the reason, assuming the FVD's are stiffer, makes a dangerous combo at high corner speeds or some hard braking situations.

You'll have to get this taken care of. I agree this could be dangerous.

I would certainly go one way or the other ( springs vs coilovers ) and not mix the two. I would be happy to provide you with any information that you may need.
