Fuel gauge showing empty after REflash

Fuel gauge showing empty after REflash

this is the second time that is happening, the first time after i put gas went back to normal.
now i didn't when to petrol station but in the evening i will go and report back, hope that it will be ok again!

does anybody know why is this happening?

When flashing, the DME looses communication with the gauge cluster, the gauge cluster looses communication with the fuel sender...

As a result, the gauge looses calibration. Fill it up and you will be fine!

mmmmm is infamous around these parts
When the fuel tank is below approx. 1/3, the remaining fuel is a calculated figure. Above that, it uses the fuel sensor. So if you flash with low fuel(i.e. less than 1/3), you will get the error.

On this topic, sort of, I realize that anything below 1/3 of tank is a calculated number for remaining miles until empty. That being said... anyone actually know what is left in the tank when the readout hits 0?

There has to be some buffer between the gauge reading 0 and the actual amount left right?

Mine did this too. Got it filled up and everything reset just fine.
