Quote: This squeaking noise shouldn’t be dependant on having the engine running or the car moving. Porsche mounts don’t squeak very often, but if it only happens when moving it could be. To narrow down the possibilities, when the car is making the noise next time try working the clutch with the engine off and car parked. It will help you hear the noise if you do this in your garage with your windows down and garage door shut. Parked next to a large concrete wall in a parking garage will work too. If you were local I would say come over to my shop and let me help ou help you out with diag and labor if need be. I know how much it sucks having to deal with annoyances like this.

Thanks for the info, Had the car in the garage parked on two jacks, and
my kids pushing the clutch while I have under the car, the sounds does
seem to come from inside the housing. But I am unable to pin point where.

I am setting up and appointment with a nearby place. Again thanks for all your help and information. I will update the thread as soon as I get new
information.

Can the car be driven with this noise?
I was wondering can I drive the car as is? or am I going to worsen or break something while using the clutch?

Thanks,

I haven’t heard of a noise from such parts causing failure. With that being said I haven’t heard your actual noise so I wont say. You have noticed the noise even with the engine not running correct? If it is doing it only while running that brings up such issues as the pilot bearing in the flywheel.

19000rpm,
The noise is present when car is on or off. it has nothing to do with engine running. thanks for all your input.

Just an update
I was under the car and did some detective work, it seem to come from the top side of the transmission.

Also it only creaks if I release the clutch slowly, a fast shift is smooth.
