Rod Job?

Are you planning on getting your rods done in the next 18 months?

I’ve been thinking of getting my rods done, in conjunction with the 700hp kit before driving season arrives. There seems to be a lot of us getting over the 600HP mark. Although there has been no trouble that I’m aware of with rods on the higher HP cars, (besides Chad and his 0-60 in 1.9 seconds), I think I should get mine done. I plan on keeping my car for a long time and want to make sure it has the internal integrity to withstand the mods I’ve done and those I plan on doing.

If you are at the 600HP+ level, or are planning to be there relatively soon, will you be getting your rods done also?

Mike

jayster is infamous around these parts
good call on your part. I am engineering a 750 HP package with carillo's. I would reccomend upgrading your case hardware
at the same time.
