I find it hard to believe regarding the Italian car woes ... their are numerous people even on this board that have had their Ferraris sometimes even as much as 1,500 miles on the odometer and nothing ever has gone wrong, proving that the reliability issue is old-hat and just a myth.

One esteemed gentlemen was at 500 miles when he stated Ferrari's reliability superiority.

I made 1500 miles in my Ferrari in one week. 1500 miles on an exotic is exactly what i call- a garage queen. If one would have 15k or 20k on the car... then he can state his opinion. I know that oil leaks or some electical problems would be present. 1500miles is a kind of car u take once a week to a fancy restaurant with ur wife or date... I hardly think that that ferrari saw any real action- beside the woman in the car!
I have over 30k miles on a stage 4 modded TT and the only think that went wrong was twice the hose blew off off the intercooler, and second, after I cleaned the BCM filter- the air mass sensor went bad. Dont get me wrong... I love the way they look( lambos and ferraris)... its just that they are not for me... I want to drive my cars... instead of showing them off to my neighbors on the weekend.
I had both the vt roadster and the ferrari.. I speak only from my personal experience
