What was the hp on that car when it was tested? I think the point Markski is trying to make is that unless you're going for 700 hp or greater, that modification will not return much of an improvement in relation to your investment.

The car has never been dynoed. It was a basic EVOMS GT700 at that point. Most of those dyno around 600whp. I have seen dynos on lesser moded cars where the TB/plenum helped but they were not independant sources (ie they were selling parts).

Here is one from BBI on a K24 car at about 500whp

I did a number of other mods at the same time that I did TB and plenum (blow through MAF, IC's, bigger injectors).

I was told by Todd K himself that this upgrade will give you fairly significant performance upgrades if you have bigger turbos but is not worth it for K 16's.

That means it won't do much for Enrique (although he may want to do it in preparation for future mods).

Chris, on the other hand, would see a huge performance boost.

Don't do it, Chris, since we should run our cars first

I expect mine back this Friday.

Im not disputing its performance(both the TB and IPD plenum together... ... Im just saying that the gains if any on a 500 rwhp car will be minimal.. spend that money on injectors, better clutch or ICs at that level...
As far as testing it with a 60 to 130 can be a mere coincidence of running .1 bar more on a cooler day.... better traction or shifting... maybe not- IDK... but a dyno on the same day before and after would tell us... that coupled with a durametric readout of rpms, boost, TB position, etc... we would see how much quicker it would spool up...
This is a lot to ask for... I understand... mind you I have the complete set up myself...
And yes I have been aware that on a gt30r type type of a turbo its a positive add on...

Umm... Why does no one pay attention to Enrique's note that Dealer is paying for TB and labor? It might gain not much hp now or more later with big turbo if he ever goes big. But the deal is sweet.
