Watched Battle of the Supercars last night on Speed Channel. They had a lesson on how not to do 60-130s. They cruised the cars up to 60 mph in third and then nailed it. They got 10-11s with cars having 1000 crank hp!!!

Yea, I saw that too. I thought those cars could at least get in the low 7s to high 6s with that kind of power. They're infamous for bad gearing for that type of test and they both weighed over 3800 pounds.

I went out 2 weeeks ago in the 100deg heat and humidity, and could only muster a 6.4

I was out Sunday night with a couple freinds. I ran my buddy's mdded AWD 335xi and had my Vbox connected...
60' 2.0
1/4 mile 12.3@120.0

my 0-60mph was only a 4.4 vs a 3.9 i can do when I'm not rushed to get a perfect reaction off the light. i was happy about a 2.0 60' on the street, 1.9 was the best I've done so far. I also briefly hit the limiter in 1st gear,

My advice to the op to shave .5 off is to wait until late October when it is 20 degrees cooler at night!

I saw the mustang and camaro as well... 10 second+ 60-130 had me calling BS on that 1000hp comments.....but then they ran the standing mile at 190+......
