Thumbs up My car has a new home ;-) LA

Well it's official as of last night!

Matt from LA, and not Matt Fresh drove up yesterday and bought my car and drove it back last night.

I did not meet him but from what Akkurat told me Matt is very happy with the purchase and he seems to be a really energetic guy. I hope the HP isn't too much for him as Matt is 22 years old. But from what I understand he has owned many European exotics so it should not be a problem.

I hope he posts here and I am happy to see a happy customer. You might see my old car driving around in LA.

He was a really nice fella so it did go to a nice home. By the sound of it he knows how to handle that car and he says he "lurks" on here....

It sure was sad to see it leave one last time

excellent, I hope I have the opportunity to see the car around here ... it was my inspiration, at least as far as looks/interior.

Hey Fred, congrats on selling your car but man oh man you're going to miss it for sure. I had a chance to drive your car that one time to your old MV house even before all the work was done and it was an incredible machine. Hope you're enjoying the RS6!

Sad to say but I don't miss it. I think it's just because I did everything I wanted to do to it and that I psychologically parted with it a long time ago. I love the RS6 as it's the best ALL AROUND car I have ever had. (Power, understated, fits 5, AWD).

Fred, hope all is well with you. With no disrespect intended, help me out with this one. You traded your car for an RS6? Am I missing something here?

None taking stu. I sold both the TT and the Cayenne TT. I wanted one car that would replace both for skiing and speed/tracking. The RS6 provides all of the above.

But the bottom line was to save money for the time being.

I heard you are close to selling your car. - congrats!

Cool. I was thinking about adding a sedan to the garage and put a deposit on an M5 a couple of months ago. Although I think it is one of the uglier sedans, the features sound interesting. Maybe in black to hide the ugly lines. My Porsche is not sold yet. I will hang on to it until I get the right price. Take care, Stu
