I'm not trying to offend or start a poo storm with the mods, but I have to say this...
So many times these types of threads get shut down because the idiots come out in droves... Alex died, and that was a big loss to the community. If something positive could be learned by his loss, then let the facts come out.

there are no "official" facts other than what has been posted in the announcements at the top of every forum...when we have them they will be released...there is a lot of conjecture on other forums and a lot of misinformation about a fire...we will not permit any such conjecture on this forum at this time...this is the time for respect for Alex, his family and friends....If any of the so called "a$$ hats" show up here they will be quickly dismissed

This is indeed very sad news. I have not been around this forum all that long but I have noticed a breathtaking show of friendship between many of you. I can tell by reading that Alex was a friend to many. I didn't know him but that won't stop me from praying for his friends and family. RIP.
