AMV8 Dealer Preview Pic's
Subdued and elegant aren't thge same thing. I'm just thinking of the day the AMV8 driver pulls up to Starbucks, and comes out to find a Vanquish parked next to him. That'll take the fizz out of your soda, so to speak.
I see the ghost of the Tiburon there, too. I see it as more of a Maserati competitor, rather than a 997-killer.

aston martin, on the other hand, will be more of an benz sl buyer.
Nice, but that yellow is a stretch for any aston. I like the lines of the vanquish much more. Maybe in person it looks better.

Hey, what OE wheels are great to begin with? This car will look outstanding with aftermarket wheels, maybe an HRE841R? To see Aston, Maserati and Porsche all offering a significant vehicle of quality and performance at this market level is terrific for sports car lovers. I've driven the Vanquish and it was just stunning inside and out. This car looks to have inherited quite a bit of the quality and performance development from that Vanquish. I don't think anyone will be disappointed to be seen in or behind the wheel of this beauty. Have you seen the spy vid's of it in testing? Minimal sway, minimal brake dive, great sound...looks like a winner to me for a first shot at this level. Wait 'til it gets a few years of development and refinement, and the trickle-down from the DB9 race car... Have you seen their site with the dark titanium ext color and baseball leather interior? I think a black Porsche 997S, Titanium AMv8, Red Maserati GT Coupe are all on my wish list. As for performance at the 'Ring all within a few sec's of each other, considering few skilled drivers will ever extract all of the performance from their street car, choosing something satisfying based on a balance of power/handling/styling/prestige is a good guideline.

This car was supposed to be a 400 hp NA v8 with 3000 pound curb weight, what happened?
They better havea supercharged version, this thing was supposed to kill the carrera and it can't even beat the S which is already slowey than the bse corvette.
I had such high aspirations for this car, what a dissapointment.

A-M isn't about absolute performance #'s but more elegant design. I think the yellow looks awful and it will look better in other colors. It's not going to scare any STI's or MR Evo's, but I don't think most people who would buy the A-M might even know what those are.
