Hi guys i've been debating what colors i'll be painting my stock twistys since i'm not in the market yet to get any aftermarket wheels. My car is silver and looking to get a better contrast with the wheels. So I've debated between gloss black, black with a pinstripe silver lip, and now i'm leaning into the dark hyper silver you see on the ISF oem wheel or GTR oem wheels.

Anybody have their stock twisties in this color???

Here's a pic of the color:

Nice! what color did you paint or powdercoat your wheels? I'm guessing the hyper dark silver is darker.

Your wheels look so much better than black wheels which basically hide the wheel design. Nice job.

My car is silver as well and I was thinking of doing mine in hyper silver/dark silver like those. If you do it post pics asap.

Believe it or not, this here is a real Hyper Black wheel....

Most blends are not a match for the next so they will vary, many claim to paint Hyper blends but actually don't use the right blends to have the true finish of Hyper Black.

Hyper is a coating over, you should have a wheel which has a Hyper Silver with a Black as a base-coat. For us this is a 3-stage process, sort of like pearl paint works.

There are quite a few who claim to paint Hyper Black but it's really Gun-Metal you're getting if it's not done right. Some use a black base and lightly coat silver over, that is not the right way of doing it....

If you have questions you can PM me or shout them here.

Will find out guys how they did it, its essentially a matt black but they are finished in a gloss clear so they actually look slightly grey, I've done the turbo script in red to match the calipers.

Spoke to my mate today, they are done in two pack, with clear coat.

The colour is as you can see more of a dark grey than black. I don't have the paint code, but could probably get it in the next few days during the week.
