Talking Decided no on E55, others (just ordered Cayenne TT)

Ok just ordered a Silver Cayenne TT, black interior, Alumunium trim. Should have it in late December. Can't wait to start moding.

First mod will be the 22" TechArt wheels.

bye bye ML55

Are those 20 or 22" rims. They look like 20's to me?

Is that yours, I love the color.

Good Point, they are 20's. I did not want the ride to be any firmer. It is really nice where it is.

Fred,

You have made a wise choice and will really enjoy your Cayenne TT. I've had mine since April and can tell you that the pleasure only increases over time. You will be amazed at the capabilities of your Cayenne TT. I took mine on the NJ/PA meet last Sunday, which included some of the top cars on this forum, and the Cayenne TT was able to keep pace with much of the pack.

Despite some of the naysayers, the Cayenne is the Porsche of SUV's! Note that September was an all time record sales month for Porsche a/c of Cayenne sales.

Enjoy!
Loren

I have added 20" Sport Techno wheels replacing the 20" Sport Design Wheels, front stainless steel skidplate, aluminum rocker guards, sports tailpipes and clear side markers.

I have a Fabspeed exhaust system coming (my Cayenne TT is the one on the Fabspeed web site, and am considering a GIAC chip/tuning from PES.

Loren,
Wow, you're SUV sounds intense and will even get better. Regarding Fabspeed, I might hold off on that. Can you imagine my neighboors having to deal with two Fabspeed monsters ;-)

How do you like the Stainless Steel skidplates? Do you have any pics?

Fred,

I second EVERYTHING that Loren said about the TT. I've had mine since April also (almost 11,000 miles) and it absolutely gets better with age! Check out this past week's Autoweek for a review. I'm paraphrasing here but the call it the "world's best SUV" and it puts the "sport" in SUV. I have the 20" Techarts and love them. They have a similar finish as the Ruf Chrome Optics. KevinM from the board should be getting his Cayenne tomorrow and he's putting on 22s as well. Great decision!

I'll take some pics and post them, hopefully next week. The stainless steel skidplate really dresses up the front, the aluminum rocker guards look great on the sides, and IMO the sports tailpipes look much sharper than the square ones. The sports tailpipes are like the ones available on the 996TT, but 2x the size.

I do not yet have the Fabspeed on my Cayenne TT. I let Joe Fabiani use my Cayenne to prototype his new exhaust. The first production version should be available in a couple of weeks and we will fit the first one to my Cayenne. The stock muffler looks good from the rear, but the Fabspeed system will look good as well. Sound is awesome, not as loud as 996TT, but more mellow. Listen to the video on the Fabspeed web site.

Eric,

Beautiful Cayenne! Mine is Titanium as well with Black interior. Fred, note how good the clear side markers look. Eric's wheels are really sharp!

I'll try to take those photos. You can also obtain a Tequipment Cayenne catalog from your Porsche dealer which has great photos of all the Cayenne Tequipment. Also check the PCNA web site.
