I love Corvettes, I have beaten a lot of beastly cars in mine....but I am a car enthusiasts first and foremost. Which is why I agreed in my post that the GT2 RS is the better car of that there is no question in my mind. Sadly my budget constrains me to modified Corvettes! It was the only way to get over 700 hp , RWD, and 3200 lbs of car to fit into my budget!

Very interesting that they both are using similar rear end ratios, and double overdrive transmissions. The Porsche is still geared better than the close ratio gearbox ZR1 however.

 

We got a 997.2 turbo PDK w/Proto reflash only we got almost same 0-300kmh for 997 GT2 RS.

0-100kmh...Couldn't test it coz spinning so lets say 3.0sec
100-200kmh in 6.5sec
100-300kmh in 25.68sec
200-300kmh in 19.1sec

All ran on 93 octane

Is that mean that flashed 997.2 turbo pdk made more power than 997 GT2 RS which is made 620bhp??

Also the weight differance is HUGE!!!

The 997 GT2 RS weight 3014lbs
The 997.2 turbo PDK weight 1454lbs

What about GT2-RS with a Flash vs a PDK with a Flash.

Then you throw the Z06 a pulley and a tune...

Those are some insane numbers out of the PDK! I would LOVE to get one if I had the chance!!

not amazing at all. the PDK makes up for a lot, just like in the GTR. Give the 997.2 a manual, then do the comparisons, I bet you will still see the GT2RS spank it

all GT2RS .What it's amazing it's what all TT Porsches can do just with a
flash.There is not comparation between both cars,like somebody said flash
the GT2RS and see what happens.
I'm AMAZED about all those Porsches 996TT-997TT-GT2 TUNED it's incredible, as i said it in CJV thread who is who,what you guys genius tuners make with a Porsche TT.I can see mine that's only has K24/18g's,flash,DV's and exhaust.....to me it's a monster.

If the panamera turboS sport chrono pdk can handle 590 ft-lbs of torque at just over 2k rpm, I don't see why the pdk in the 997 turbo can't. It would be interesting to see them put it in the GT2RS.

 

I get it now,sorry.It should be incredible to see a GT2RS PDK.It'll be blast.
