Can anyone recommend a shop in the Northern VA/DC area for a pre-purchase inspection?

The only place i know if in the area is Intersport in Tysons but have not used them before.

Intersport is a good shop. So is ASG, IMA, Autobahn, Curry's, and Funktion.

Just make sure to take it to a shop that has not worked on it before. Also talk with the folks who have worked on the car. All the shops mentioned above are good shops.

I hope you get something nice

Must be looking at that Turbo/GT2 that is on consignment. Decent looking car other than those nasty subwoofers in the back

It's not for that car but I did stop by and look at it. It's not my favorite color combination but the car has low miles and some nice looking wheels. The subs in the back are a bit large...lol

I totally agree about the color combination and then there is that one GT3 seat...who gets only one? My broker was talking to them about it and it appears to be in good shape and very low miles, but in the end I want a diff color combo and found Scott here locally who is going to sell me his.

Those subs are horrific! Talk about a waste of space...go by an old Lincoln if you want to roll around bouncing up and down with your beats. Otherwise, drop one 10" in the back behind the seats and call it a day.

Dude...that is an incredible price. Not sure that is helping the value of other's. $34k for a 6speed with 64k miles...well below anything I have seen.

That is a great deal but i'm really not into silver. They've had that car for a while so i'm sure it could be had for a great deal if anyone is interested. I'm also looking for a car with lower mileage - I'm not going to drive it much so it's worth buying something with lower miles for me.

I was going to look at the black Turbo at Porsche of Tysons Corner but the morning I got there someone was in the middle of buying it. Oh well, i'll wait until August when the prices start falling and i'm sure i'll find something.
