Techart springs

Hi guys

I'm interested in lowering my car,but not spend a lot of money with a complete set of spring and absorber....

I ask you if someone tried the Techart sport spring with stock 996 Turbo absorber.(Techart said this springs are Eilbach spring with special setting for stock absorber..)...and if is a good compromise and the car's andling good...

I take my car on track 4/5 times for year not much....

Thanks for help
Ciao
Dario

Hi,

I just put on fully adjustable coil over KW suspension and I like it alot! You can adjust both rebound and combression as well as ride height.

Darius,

I've had the Techart springs on my car with the stock absorbers for about 2 years now. It's great. It lowers the car 30mm and gives it a nice firm ride. It's not as good as a full coilover system, but depending on how you drive, you might not need that.

KW suspensions Variant #3 This is an excellent setup for street or track. The V3 system is adjustable for rebound and compression SEPERATELY. (that is a very key point as one of the other popular coil over systems does not allow seperate adjustment you raise one and lower the other. Not very logical but hey) They are also finished in a stainless steel shock body so corrosion that usually takes places on coil overs in non-existent on these. The KW V3 equipped 911's posted the fastest lap times of tall the 911's @ the 24 hr race @ "the ring" (nurburgring) So this system is for real. As a result of all of the available adjustment they are able to be tailored for the street or to a full blown track style suspension for D/E or lapping days. Call me @ 877-697-1688 if you have any questions about them. The cost on the system is $4000-$5000 depending on your needs.. One last not the KW V3 system uses a remote resevoir for the fluid in the shock, this helps to keep a certain amount in reserve and aslo to keep the fluid cooler allowing it to flow at a specified rate for a longer period of time (i.e. not turning to a frothy foam after alot of motion).
