Ebay GT2

Been looking for quite a while now….found this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...t_13731wt_1289

It received no bids. I am wondering what the deal is, what am I missing?

Wondering if there is any knowledge of this car in the forum. Appreciate any help.

nice looking car>>>>

however, i think there are others available with half the miles for that model year. not sure if 36k on the clock is a huge detractor but if it were me buying i would want less than 10k, just my opinion of course. the GT2 is an AWESOME machine, good luck with the search.

I don't know anything about that particular car other than IT LOOKS GORGEOUS! Love the GT3 RS wheels too! 36K miles wouldn't scare me at all. We all know Porsche's are meant to be driven, so if you're looking for a GT2 that you're not afraid to drive because you might waste a few precious miles, this would be great, heck if it were an '02 Turbo, this would be considered a low mile car. Wish I knew more about this particular car though, if it had been in an accident or anything like that, it could be indicative of why it didn't sell. That being said, it might just be the current market.

Hmmm I want it. The mile's, mile's and mile's.. I don't understand why pp complain about mile's. Life must be difficult driving a nice car for some people.

Carfax says 4 owners and 20 reports. Hopefully someone can run the carfax to know what the 20 reports are. They could just be regular service. Had the Transmission replaced by the factory which means it may have been a 2nd gear pop-out issue. I wouldn't be too concerned about that, especially since it's been replaced.

Sounds a bit cheap.

If thso are the GT3 style wheels in GT2 sizes they are quite rare.

FYI, that car has been on and off ebay for at least 3 months now. Saw it online when I was doing the research, and I don't think it had any bids when I was looking either.
The blue one with 3000 miles in KS is coming down in price, and I believe you can get it now for low 80's. Other than the wheels painted in blue I think it looks great. (they were asking 100k for it)

The price that you see in that link today is just the starting bid. if the buy it now price was indeed 65k then it's a super deal, but I don't think that was the case...

Do not look like PCCB's. If they are, they are in bad shape. On the window sticker I missed that option.

PCCB was stock on GT2's, that's why it's not on the Option list. As Rainey said, they replaced the stock ceramic rotors with the steel ones. Which leads me to believe this car has seen track time as well, since a lot of people swapped out the ceramics for steel for track usage.
