My Turbo on Ebay

The buyer who chiseled me down to a humbling $68.5K backed out at the last minute, so my car is on Ebay now.

Wish me luck!

Good Luck I sold my 01 TT and my 03 cab from ebaymotors

Auction never went to completion - buyers emailed me and we made the deals off ebay to avoid the 3% ebay would get of the final price

it took 3 listings from each cars so ebay still got $270 from me!

IMHO, tiptronic isn't going to help you. Great car. Looks good. If you have the time to hold out, you can get your price.

Ken - someone else brought this up already. When I went to get a trade in quote at the dealer, they actually said that the Tiptronic isn't much of a plus or a minus in the LA region, given the tremendous traffic we have.

Car does look great, good luck with the sale.

I looked at your add and I don't think you can buy an extended warranty through porsche for a used car. It would have to be bought through a Porsche dealer to buy an extension. At least that is the way it is around here. I bought mine at a Lincoln dealer and I went to my local Porsche dealer and was told I could not buy additional coverage. They said I would have to have purchased the car from a Porsche dealer. Please let me know if I am wrong.

Any dealer CAN provide certification on a privately owned used porsche, it's up to them if they WANT to sell it.

The biggest drawback of the certification program is that the dealer has to own the vehicle during the certification program. So, once the vehicle has passed certification, they have to sell it back to you. That means that in states that have sales tax, you have to pay the tax again. This is fine in states like Oregon that have no sales tax.

In states with tax, the most cost effective method is to purchase an extended vehicle warranty for about $2500-$4000 depending on time, mileage, and deductible.
