996TT w/ epl flash, EP2 loud and bypass valve vs. new stocl 997tt
I just raced a '10 Turbo last week in Houston. We had about 5 runs and i walked away each time (until the last run when the dark blue turbo sped off towards the right hand lane and didn't see the cop in front of him (he got pulled over
).
My mods are 16G, exhaust, I/C and tune. If I didn't have the 16g conversion, I don't think I would have won. Keep in mind, he was in a manual and I have a tip.

A 16G Tip car with an upgraded TC (so you can stall up to like 3500 RPM) will get you sub 3s 0-60.

And there is the quandary.
Making current K24's into 18g's or going K16 billets.
I am a bigger fan of acceleration, but also like the 60-130 range.
I also have a 6spd, but feel pretty sure a K16 billets car would be well under the 3 second mark, and have really liked the numbers I have seen on the billet turbos, and like most was hoping to see some better numbers from K24 billets but appears to boil down to a 18g or 16 billet decision.
Talking to the dealer, at least in Houston, there aren't many PDKs here just yet.
