Vibration while braking at track

Another track question...So, this weekend I was at the track for the first time since the R6's and flash/exhaust have been added. Temp was just south of hotter than hell.
So, I went through the first session with no problems. towards the end of the second session under heavy braking the steering wheel would vibrate. I ended up running one more lap that session and it got worse so I came in.

Consulted the track mechanic and we determined that the rotors were warped. So, i didn't run the other two sessions. Then I changed tires back to the street set and drove it home. The whole trip home I was hard on the brakes and didn't feel the vibration again.

That being the case, I took it back to the track on Sunday and ran two more sessions. Toward the end of each session the vibration started again (not as bad as the day before but still noticeable). So, I just shut it down early.

Since the vibration only happens when the brakes seem to get really hot, I don't think the rotors are warped. General consensus seems to be that the pads aren't holding up well to the temp (stock pads...teknik I think).

I am heading back to the track in a month or so and don't want a repeat of this. Do any of you all have any thoughts...replace the pads or replace the pads and rotors?

Sorry for the long read. Just wanted to fully explain the situation. Thanks in advance for the help.

It's probably brake judder which is an uneven buildup of pad residue which causes the vibration. Get some track pads for the track and keep the stock pads for the street. Pagid yellows will be trouble free at the track but upgrade your brake fluid to a high heat resistant fluid like Castrol SRF.

Sometimes heat-warpage is not permanent. I suggest installing the
best/biggest of the current Porsche brake-cooling ducts that clip
onto the control arms. A couple hundred bucks may solve this.

There's a link to the CUP cooling ducts in post #10 of the thread below.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will probably do the GT3 coolers and the Pagid Yellows. Probably going to replace the brake fluid too just to be safe. I am currently running the Motul but I put it in a couple of years ago.

Thanks again.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I didn't ever bed these bed these brakes in. On the drive home between the first an second day I essentially went through the bedding procedure so I wonder if that's why they were better on Sunday.

Either way, still going to do some new pads just to make sure and going to look into adding the gt3 cooling duct.
